Our Purpose

IATI CONSULTANTS’ key goal is to create win-win engagement and relationships between clients and Pacific communities and governments. We deliver expert services that cater for government agencies, international organizations, civil society, and businesses interested in Pacific geopolitics, governance and development issues. Founder Biography

Dr. Iati has over 16 years of distinguished expertise in Pacific geopolitics and international relations, combining academic teaching, research and publications with consultancy work.

He was a senior lecturer at Otago University before taking up his current role as Senior Lecturer at the Politics and International Relations Programme at Victoria University of Wellington, and Pacific Security Fellow at the Centre for Strategic Studies.

He has co-authored and edited publications such as "New Zealand and the World", "The China Alternative" and "China in Oceania". His work approach consists of analysing current events through a methodical and unbiased perspective.
